Emily was attentive to my desired outcome, provided clear instructions, she was professional, caring and created a supporting environment that enabled us to decompress the nerves, restore strength and we strengthened all the supporting muscles which has actually led to me unlocking my next level of fitness and strength. ‘After two years of recurring shin splints and ankle pain, exacerbated by running, and having previously undergone physiotherapy with no improvement in my injury, I was apprehensive that my experience would be repeated - this apprehension quickly abated. I was initially assessed by Emily, who developed a dynamic rehab program tailored to both the state of my injury and my goal of returning to running pain-free. Over the course of six weeks, starting in mid-June 2025, I noticed a gradual reduction in pain, along with overall gains in my leg strength. An assessment of my running gait on the treadmill by Emily gave me insight into how to adjust my running style to reduce impact and minimise the risk of injury. Emily is friendly, concise, and encouraging, and I’m very grateful for her support! If you’re considering physiotherapy, especially for persistent running injuries, I’d highly recommend !’
